Best Locations for Engagement Pictures around the Twin Cities...

1 - Minneapolis sculpture garden... unique sculptures outside, including the famous "cherry on the spoon". There is also the Minneapolis Cowles Conservatory which has a lot of really unique spots for pictures!

2 - Minnehaha falls... Awesome views, incredible locations for pictures... also has a pergola which is very green in the spring. Tons of different photo ideas!

3 - Walter Library in Minneapolis... Awesome architecture and really great location the will give your pictures an edgy modern look.

4 - Harriet Island... amazing views of the river, great walking paths, really great scenic locations for pictures. There are so many different locations here for pictures.

5 - Lyndale Park Rose Garden... Great place for pictures, a very romantic fairytale setting. Tons of roses and a great location for portraits!

6 - Hot Sam's Antique... Really unique place for pictures, lots of old rusty antiques to use for props and backgrounds!

7 - Como Park and Conservatory... They are a little strict on their picture policy but can make for some amazing pictures! Love their Japanese Garden!

8 - The Stone Arch Bridge, St. Anthony Falls... Great views and a classic view of Minneapolis incredible location and a ton of possibilities!

9 - Coon Rapids Dam... Really great locations, unique trees and lots of different views for creative pictures!

10 - Lebanon Hills, Eagan MN... Great trails and scenic views... tons of different possibilities for a photo session!

Things to wear for portraits (Engagement & Seniors)

A dress shirt and your favorite jeans.


Usually solids work best, but if you want to use a pattern make sure it isn't too over done.

A dress that is very flattering, and make sure your guy is equally dressy so it doesn't look like your too dressed up.

Make sure your clothes aren't too baggy... or too tight!

Both of you wearing outfits with similar colors.



Bring one casual outfit and one dressy outfit.
